Doll bed

Jim built this bed and my sister and I sewed and put together the rest for Sariah's American Girl doll that she wants from Santa. I have also been busy making outfits for the doll and it has been so much fun!

Anna's birthday

Anna is 3! It has gone by so fast. We had a little party at McDonalds.

Anna has been wanting a new baby and stroller, she loves them!

Also, Jonah and Joel intered the Reflections contest and Jonah won third in literature and Joel won first in photography. Joel will go on to regional now. Good going boys!

Eliza came to play. She asked her mom if Anna is her cousin. We said "Maybe". They sure look like they could be and they are from the same small orphanage. They played like best friends and it was a beautiful day.

We bought this fun hairpiece and it looks so cute on Anna. She feels all fancy.

This is her favorite face to make. She always sticks out her tongue. Guess what. She has almost completely stopped taking naps. She gets real grumpy about dinner time and goes down early for bed. Bummer for mom.

I have always thought Jim looked like President Monson when he was young. What do you think with his face put on the head with the hair?

1: I love to plant flowers and watch them grow.
2: I love having "Girls night out", whether it be book club, dinner or Enrichment.
3: I have rediscovered reading and am loving it!
4: I can't wait to get back to China someday.
5: I love having friends over for dinner, even if it stresses me out.
6: I hate having my husband be bishop and going to church without him and dealing with the kids by myself, but am used to it.
7: I love alone time. Time to reflect, read, walk, do laundry, garden, whatever. It is so rare that I relish it.

Pretty Little Girl

Isn't she adorable? She can be a defiant almost 3 year old but she still is a cutie.

Grandparents Day

Jim's Mom and my parents were so sweet and came to the elementary school for Grandparents Day.

Anna

Anna has been doing awesome lately. She loves the one on one time with Mom she is now getting. She is less whiney and much more loving. I hope we have crossed one more hurdle. She used to wake up in a bad mood and it was so hard to want to go get her out of bed, now she wakes up happy and will just play in her crib until I get her. She is also finally going to nursery at church and loving it. She is so cute and everyone loves her!

Jim ran his first (make that last) 10 mile race

Jim only ran this race because it was a mountain race in our comunity put together by one of the other ward bishops. He hates to pay to run. He says he can run it anytime for free.

There are too many pictures to post so here are some of my favorites. We had a blast staying at a beautiful house with the cousins and aunts and uncles. The kids played all day and late into the night. We did beach volleyball, hunted for crawdadas, fished, shopped, swam, biked and pilled up sleeping bags and jumped in. What fun!
